Artistic Technologies
Artistic Technologies is my latest research project at the Keio Graduate School of Media Design and focuses on developing disruptive ideas to better support creative expressions from artists with disabilities
Assistive Technology in the Global South
A lot of my research revolves around understanding how we can increase access and impact of assistive tech for people with disabilities who live in the Global South
Education and Assistive Technology
Education and AT are both topics that I am really interested in. Throughout the years I have engaged in a number of projects that looked at the overlap between the two.
Wheelchair Transfers
My doctoral research focused on developing a better understanding of how people who use wheelchairs for mobility transfer in and out of them in everyday life, and derive design implications for new technologies
Other Research Interests
As a general rule of thumb, I am interested in all things that are related to disability. In particular, I am fascinated by projects that seek to unpick the positive and negative ways in which technology can have an impact on the life and the wellbeing of people with disabilities.
